Director of Women in Ministry
"God’s love and His amazing plan to restore relationship
I was born into a christian home where my parents both loved and served the Lord. Growing up with two older sisters and a younger brother meant life was never dull. We spent our summers on the lake swimming and canoeing, and the winters skating and sledding. Loving God was important to my family and so it became important to me.
My parents were intentional to make known the truths of the Bible to me. We listened to countless hours of dramatized Bible tapes on road trips and at home that told of God’s love and His amazing plan to restore relationship with mankind. With me.
I trusted in Jesus to forgive my sin as a child. My faith began to deepen as I attended youth group in my teens and started to place God first in my life. I began to understand what worshiping God really meant. My relationship with God became more than just being saved from hell. God had a purpose for me—to know him and to walk in obedience with him. I haven’t always made the right choices, but my hearts desire was and continues to be, to live a life pleasing to God.
Today I am a wife and a mother to our four children. I continue to grow in my knowledge of the Lord, and to trust Him when life’s interruptions don’t always make sense. I love spending time with my family, and am intentional about building into the lives of others.
Having been involved in women’s ministry for many years, I am very excited for this opportunity to serve as Director of Women in Ministry at StoneRidge. It is my desire and prayer that Women’s Ministry will inspire, encourage and equip women to love the Lord with all their heart, soul and mind, and to truly love others.
